In 1972, an advertisement featuring Parnelli Jones with an Autavia ref. 1163 on his wrist and his car in the background was put in a few magazines. when you purchased a 10 pack carton of Viceroy cigarettes you could send in the carton's tab and personal details in order to purchase the "Viceroy" Heuer for the discounted price of $88 regularly priced at msrp $200. The deal ran for seven months before it was discontinued.
This One is very Special, it is one of the Watches with V engraved on the case between the Lugs, at 6 o'clock, under the ref 1163, that was in promotion/sales only for few months back in 1972.
